Greatest Needs
Greatest Needs
The American Health Assistance Foundation is dedicated to creating a brighter future for the millions of people living with Alzheimer’s disease, macular degeneration and glaucoma – three diseases that rob people of sight, and another that steals the ability to “see” life’s joyful memories.
Raising Funds to Provide Resources for Care and Research for Cures
A future filled with hope for our patients is directly related to the generosity of others. To achieve our life-saving mission of finding cures, AHAF relies on individual donations and pledges, corporate contributions and foundation grants. Our long-time donors have enabled us to reach significant milestones in the programs that we fund. However, we not only want to find the cures for Alzheimer’s, macular degeneration, and glaucoma, we also want to ensure that we are providing resources for patients and their caregivers of these devastating diseases.
To achieve this, we are developing initiatives to positively impact the lives of the millions of people who are struggling with these diseases every day.
How You Can Get Involved
Now more than ever - we need your help! To fund or help us raise the funds necessary to develop or initiate innovative and necessary initiatives, please contact Gayle Handiboe (ghandiboe@ahaf.org) at 1-800-437-2423. We also need volunteers, from every state, to help us implement these initiatives.
